Improve Attention and Task Completion
- Client will identify at least 3 common distractions or barriers to sustained attention and develop strategies to address them within 90 days.
- Client will use at least 2 attention-supporting strategies during identified tasks in 2 reported opportunities.
- Client will increase task completion by breaking larger responsibilities into manageable steps and completing at least 3 identified tasks per week.
- Client will demonstrate improvement in ADHD symptom severity as evidenced by decreased ASRS scores from baseline to reassessment.
Improve Organization, Planning, and Time Management
- Client will identify at least 3 organizational or time-management strategies and implement them consistently within 90 days.
- Client will use a planner, calendar, task-management system, or other organizational tool at least 3 days per week for 4 consecutive weeks.
- Client will prioritize daily responsibilities by identifying at least 3 tasks each day and completing them according to established priorities.
- Client will demonstrate improved ADHD-related functioning as evidenced by decreased ASRS scores from baseline to reassessment.
Improve Impulse Control and Emotional Regulation
- Client will identify at least 3 situations that commonly contribute to impulsive reactions or emotional escalation within 90 days.
- Client will practice at least 2 strategies for pausing, regulating, and considering consequences before responding in at least 2 reported opportunities.
- Client will identify early signs of emotional escalation and implement an appropriate regulation strategy in at least 3 situations per week.
- Client will report a reduction in the frequency or intensity of impulsive or emotionally reactive behaviors from baseline over the course of treatment.
Improve Executive Functioning and Daily Routines
- Client will identify at least 3 executive functioning challenges that interfere with daily responsibilities and develop corresponding strategies within 90 days.
- Client will establish and follow at least 2 structured daily routines for 4 consecutive weeks.
- Client will use task-initiation strategies to begin identified responsibilities within an agreed-upon timeframe in at least 2 reported opportunities.
- Client will demonstrate increased consistency with daily responsibilities as evidenced by improved client self report and clinical observation over 90 days.
Improve Interpersonal and Social Functioning
- Client will identify at least 3 ADHD-related behaviors that negatively affect interpersonal functioning within 90 days.
- Client will practice at least 2 communication strategies, such as active listening, pausing before responding, or reducing interruptions, in at least 3 interpersonal situations per week.
- Client will demonstrate increased awareness of how impulsivity, inattention, or emotional dysregulation affects relationships during therapy sessions.
- Client will report improvement in interpersonal functioning from baseline as evidenced by increased use of effective communication and reduced ADHD-related interpersonal difficulties over 90 days.
